Hey Babe,
I'm AlexXandra Rogers.
Wife. Mom. Author. Podcast host. Jesus follower.
And apparently, the kind of woman who will lovingly tell you when you're full of it.
Good news: I say it because I love you.
After finding Jesus in her early twenties, AlexXandra developed a passion to help women find freedom in Christ and confidence in who God created them to be. She hosts the Babe, We Need to Talk podcast and creates Bible studies and devotional resources for women. When she isn’t writing, podcasting, or leading Bible studies, she is playing chauffeur to her four kids with some form of caffeine in tow. Listen to her podcast for even more hard truths from great love!
What is Babe, We Need To Talk?

Hard truth. Great love. That's the whole thing.
Sometimes you don't need another person telling you that you're doing amazing.
Sometimes you need somebody who loves you enough to say: “Babe... that's not what God said.”

Babe, We Need to Talk is a ministry focused on discipling and encouraging women. It’s grown to include a podcast, book, and ever-expanding collection of Bible studies and devotionals for women who want more than inspirational quotes and Sunday-morning Christianity.

We're talking about faith in real life. The messy relationships. The hard seasons. The forgiveness you don't want to give. The thing God keeps putting His finger on.
And we're doing it the only way that matters: with Scripture open and Jesus at the center.
I don't believe you need more Christian content.
I THINK YOU NEED MORE JESUS.
There is no shortage of inspirational quotes on the internet.
You can find a Bible verse printed on just about anything.
You can listen to sermons while you fold laundry.
You can save 400 Christian reels and never open your Bible.
And babe... I say this with love: that ain't it.
I want to help women know God's Word for themselves.
I want you to recognize His voice.
I want you to learn what obedience looks like.
I want you to know who you are in Christ so deeply that the world doesn't get to rename you every Tuesday.
And I want you to stop being afraid of conviction.
Because God's conviction isn't Him standing over you with a finger wagging.
It's a Father who loves you enough to tell you the truth.

Here's what we're not doing.
We're not pretending we're perfect.
We're not confusing feelings with truth.
We're not building our identity around what the culture says about us.
We're not treating the Bible like a self-help book.
We're not outsourcing our relationship with God to Instagram.
And we're definitely not watering down Scripture so everybody feels comfortable.

We're opening the Word.
We're listening for the Holy Spirit.
We're obeying when God says go.
We're repenting when He says turn around.
We're learning to forgive.
We're learning to love people well.
We're learning who we are because we're learning whose we are.
This book is for you if...

You've been feeling spiritually stuck.
You want to hear God more clearly.
You know you're called to something but you're afraid to obey.
You've been chasing peace in places that can't give it to you.
You're tired of comparing yourself to everyone around you.
You know Scripture matters, but you struggle to make it part of your everyday life.
You love Jesus but still have a whole lot of growing to do.
