PSALM 119 STUDY

22 days to help you fall in love with God's Word.

If you have been desiring to read the Bible but have had trouble building the habit, or if you struggle with the Lord’s commandments or understanding the Word, this 22-Day study is perfect for you. Dig into why and how to read God’s Word and how to apply it to your everyday life! Psalm 119 is composed of 22 sections, each with 8 verses, and we are going to break down 8 verses a day to learn and lean into God’s Word. Psalm 119 is the longest in the Bible and follows an acrostic style- each section starts with the next letter of the Hebrew alphabet. While no one knows for sure who authored this beautifully composed Psalm, many expect that David did, based on the style and the contents. Let's fall in love with the Word of God!

JAMES STUDY

Hard truths. Heart change.

A whole lot of Scripture.

The book of James is a book in the Bible written by Jesus’ half-brother James. He was one of the early influential church leaders, and these 5 chapters of the Bible are full of hard truths from great love, which is what “Babe, We Need to Talk” is built on. If you have ever needed a kick in the butt to walk more Christ-like, or need reminders on how to treat others, this book will fill you with the Spirit of God and all of the fruit that He has for us.

Through this devotional study, you will learn what it really means to persevere through trials and how to draw near to God. You will learn all about the power in the tongue, wisdom from God, and how humility is required in our walk with Christ. This study isn't about fluff and encouragement; it's about true introspection and heart change. I pray that it blesses you in many ways! And as always... don't take my word for it, open God's.

COLOSSIANS STUDY

A five-day study about Jesus, the Gospel, and whose team you're really playing for.

The world is full of two teams - which one are you on? The Book of Colossians was written by Paul after he heard about the strong faith of the people in Colossae. He wrote to them while he was imprisoned to encourage them to stay strong in the faith. This book of the Bible is an amazing reminder of who Jesus is, what he did for us on the cross, what that means for us, and what our lives should look like as a result.

As I read and studied this book in the Bible, God gave me a picture of two teams fighting against each other, so we are leaning into some sports metaphors throughout. Even if you’re not a “Go, Sports!” person, I know that God can and will speak to you through this book, but I wanted to give a heads-up on the lingo and vibe, babe.
